Recently, I helped Nigel from Gotha Carpentry & Construction with his project to modify the garage of a 1970s Willemsen townhouse in Mawson. The owners wanted the roof raised so the garage could fit a modern SUV. I prepared plans and lodged a Development Application (DA). Construction was completed in August 2025.

On a side note, a DA does not require an endorsement from a body corporate if the proposed development is wholly within the unit area and there is no impact on the common areas of the complex.
